NOAA Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor (MRMS)
Radar-derived severe-weather products, including hail estimates, are derived from the Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor system, a joint project of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Severe Storms Laboratory and the University of Oklahoma's Cooperative Institute for Severe and High-Impact Weather Research and Operations. NOAA data are US Government works. Radar products are estimates and do not establish confirmed property damage.
NOAA Storm Prediction Center
Hail, wind, and tornado ground reports are sourced from the National Weather Service through the NOAA Storm Prediction Center. SPC reports are preliminary observations; NOAA's final storm-data publications may revise them. NOAA data are public-domain US Government works.
