Delete your Overview account

Delete in the app

The steps are the same on Android and iPhone.

1. Open the Overview app and sign in.
2. Tap the Settings tab.
3. Under Account, tap Manage account.
4. Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete account.
5. Review how deletion affects each organization you belong to. An organization you own alone will close; if others remain, choose a successor to take over ownership.
6. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap the delete button. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If the app says account deletion is disabled for your organization, ask your organization's administrator, or request deletion by email below.

What is deleted and what is kept

When your account is deleted, we delete:

• Your account profile: name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
• Your organization memberships and, where you are the sole owner, the organization itself.
• Canvassing session history, route lines, and logged doors recorded under your account.
• Groups, contacts, and mailers you created, unless their organization transfers to a successor.
• This device's push-notification registration and the analytics identifier tied to your account.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel a subscription billed by Google in your Google Play subscriptions, or one billed by Apple in your Apple subscriptions. Direct subscriptions can be cancelled in Overview's account settings.
